Cromer Road is a spacious modern holiday home, located a stones throw from one of Norfolk’s finest beaches and situated on the main coastal road between Trimingham and Mundesley. With sea views from the path behind the house, the Victorian property has been recently renovated to a very high standard, and boasts large bright rooms, high ceilings, wooden floors, a rather lovely fully enclosed garden. There is also parking for two cars outside, a large enclosed garden, and four bedrooms sleeping eight in total.
Blue circles show available start date. Grey blocks show already booked periods.
The property is a 15 minute walk to the beach via the path behind the house and via steps (called Cardiac Hill!). For the less able bodied, the main road path would be better, where there is a slope to the beach, and again a 15 minute walk.

Trimingham is a lovely secluded beach, mainly owing to the challenge of finding it! Located at the end of a narrow lane that most people don’t know of, it can be easier to park at nearby Mundesley and walk along the coast. But if you want mesmerising views of the beach from up high, we’re happy to let you in to the secret location of the beach road. The beach is popular with watersports enthusiasts, dog walkers and anglers.
The village is 5 miles north of North Walsham, 4 miles east of Cromer, 20 miles (32 km) north of the city of Norwich, and is on the B1159 coastal road between Cromer and Mundesley.
You can also explore the Deep History Coast along the Discovery Trail which follows the coastline from Weybourne to Cart Gap. Walk it all or pick a section and find out what the area was like thousands of years ago via eleven Discovery Points along the way. Each route brings a unique discovery about north Norfolk’s past.
The thriving and historic market town of North Walsham is about 5 miles away, and has a range of supermarkets, leisure facilities and shops. North Walsham also has a train station with trains to Sheringham and Norwich. The lovely broads town of Wroxham is about 9 miles, and also well worth a visit.
The coastal village of Mundesley is a great starting point for country walks with plenty of footpaths, circular routes and walking trails including Paston Way and and the Norfolk Coast Path and is also on the Deep History Coast Discovery Trail and has its own Discovery Point.
Mundesley’s Blue Flag wide sandy beach, with colourful beach huts and shallow rock pools, is an ideal playground for children of all ages, and there is also great year-round sea fishing too.
The bustling market town of Norwich is about 45 minutes away with its picturesque lanes, buzzy market, cultural displays and dining treats. And of course there are our two famous Cathedrals and Norwich Castle, which was built by the Normans as a Palace over 900 years ago. It is now a museum and art gallery where children can discover more about East Anglia’s own Queen Boudicca. The Museum of Norwich is packed full of exhibitions and interactive displays, or why not enjoy taking the hop-on-hop-off bus to see the city.
Wroxham – the heart of the broads, is the perfect place for boat tours, day boat hire, shopping, or to visit Wroxham Barns – a family adventure park with rides, animals, shopping, dining, a maize maze, and so much more – it’s also where our office is based so why not call in and say hi!

This house was perfect for us! Very clean, spacious and very well equipped. I often bring things from home “just in case” like a spare tea towel, bin bags etc but I didn’t need to use any of it. Fully stocked and plenty of plates, cutlery etc for our week stay with 6 people. Beds are comfy and the shower is brilliant!! Mundesley is a lovely place (we’ve been here a few times) and this is one of the nicest houses we’ve stayed in. Paper shop/mini mart up the road and access to the beach down the road- couldn’t ask for more! Thank you once again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very modern and clean with some nice decor too. The whole house was roomy so we did not feel cramped and it had a nice garden too. The bathroom had a great shower and a nice jet bath too. Parking was good and it was a nice village too, as well as lots to do locally in the area. Great value. Would definitely recommend!
Very clean, tidy and lovely home equipped with everything you need. Fabulous modern kitchen and garden, and we really loved the digital shower and jacuzzi bath. Amanda is a great host and super helpful. Great communication, super quick and easy. The house looks exactly like it does on the pictures, if not better in person. Lovely location, very nice area, and easy to get around from there. Perfect as a base to explore the area during our family stay. Would absolutely recommend to stay here!
Just spent a lovely cozy weekend in Mundesley, house was spacious and well equipped. Beds were really comfortable and the home has 2 wood burners for extra warmth. Wifi was good so the kids were happy with Netflix in the evenings to watch some Christmas movies. Visited the Gunton Arms and Ship Inn for dinner, all local and excellent service and food. Cannot wait to return. Beautiful part of the country.
Loved our stay in this beautiful house. Amanda was super helpful throughout our stay and the photos of the house don’t do it justice - it’s absolutely gorgeous and one of the best equipped houses we’ve stayed at. Location is great too with the beach and village centre just a short stroll away. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! Thanks for having us.
