Farthing Cottage in Trunch is a modern yet rustic dog friendly cottage in the lovely rural village of Trunch, which is 3 miles from the market town of North Walsham and 2 miles from the coast at Mundesley.
The village boasts a village shop and post office, as well as The Crown Inn which offers excellent beers and nice food.
Mundesley is a popular seaside holiday destination due to its sandy beaches and historic 9 hole Golf club, The Mun Valley. As well as shops including butchers, florists, arts and crafts, chemists, convenience store and medical centre, its also home to an adventure island crazy golf park close to the seafront. There is a very small maritime museum as well as numerous pubs, restaurants and fish and chips shops!
There is plenty of parking on the gravelled area at the front of the house. The front door leads straight into the hallway with hanging space and a downstairs loo. There's a lovely modern lounge/diner, with warm slate flooring with underfloor heating, brand new sofas, side tables, flat screen tv with Freeview and a NowTV box and DVD player. There’s also a very cosy woodburning stove and a wooden dining table, that seats 4. The owners are currently having half height blinds installed for privacy and nervous doggies.
The kitchen is a really good size in this property, with lots of lovely natural light from the window and french doors. It boasts a fully fitted electric oven, gas hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and plenty of cupboard space and work surfaces.
Lovely medium-sized fenced garden with patio area, table and chairs and a bbq.
Bedroom 1 has twin beds with a gorgeous view over the back garden and flat screen tv with dvd player. All the usual items such as wardrobe and bed side tables, and recently had a complete renovation with new furniture and decor, ready for the spring 2021 re-opening. Bedroom 2 has a king bed with all the usual mod cons and wardrobes. View out over front of house into quiet lane.
The Bathroom is a decent size with new shower enclosure, new flooring (also for the 2021 reopening) heated towel rail, and so on.

Trunch is a village in Norfolk, which is 3 miles from the market town of North Walsham and 2 miles from the coast at Mundesley.
The village boasts a Grade I listed 14th century church and typical old Norfolk flintstone houses within a designated conservation area. Trunch is surrounded by the North Norfolk protected area of outstanding natural beauty, and there are many public footpaths and quiet lanes,very inviting for (dog) walkers, bird watchers and conservationists.

Trunch can be easily accessed from North Walsham or off the coast road from Gimingham or Mundesley. There is one main road that goes through the village and at the centre of the village is the shop, church and pub. Chapel Road runs down the side of the shop and Farthing Cottage is a couple of hundred yards down the road on the right behind a wall and fronted by a large gravel parking area with the name sign, Warren Farm. The cottage is one of a pair – the one on the left.
