Halloween Activities and Events In Norfolk 2022!

Get spooky in Norfolk in the run up to Halloween! Whether you want to find the best pumpkin picking spot, need something to entertain the kids over the October half term or fancy something a bit more terrifying… we’ve put together some of our favourite Halloween events and activities happening in Norfolk this October.

Wroxham Barns Pumpkin Festival

Wroxham Barns have over 10,000 homegrown pumpkins to choose from between 22nd October – 31st October 2022. Not only do you get to go pumpkin picking, but you also get a great family day out with the farm to visit, rides at their Fun Park and their new Halloween maize maze to explore! You get a free pumpkin for every paying child, and you can purchase additional pumpkins with carving for £2 each.

Or why not try the NEW Pumpkin Festival By Night event, for after hours pumpkin picking on the 27-30th October 5.45pm – 9.30pm. Get after hours access to the pumpkin field, Junior Farm, Fun Park rides and maize maze as well as fire entertainers, food trucks and a bar! Tickets are £13.99 per person with a free pumpkin each.

Bewilderwood Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade

The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade takes place at Bewilderwood, Norfolk and is on every evening from the 15th October – 31st October and is another great one for families. Their glowing woodland display is magical in the evening with lanterns guiding the way – look out for lots of forest friends! It is a separate ticketed event so make sure to book as it can sell out quite quickly.

Cost: £12.50 each (under 92cm, wheelchair users and carers are free)

The Pumpkin House, Thursford

The Pumpkin House is back again this year with lots of homegrown pumpkins as well as broomsticks, wizard hats, wooded walk and maze, pumpkin soup, hot chocolate and lots of games and activities to entertain the kids! Free to enter with standard pumpkins costing £5. Open on 15th & 16th October and then daily from 22nd October – 30th October 10am – 4pm.

Halloween Spooktacular at The Hippodrome, Great Yarmouth

 

The Hippodromes brand new Halloween Spooktacular Show is one not to be missed! It’s on between the 21st and 31st October for Half Term. The fun and spooky show will see Jack Jay and comedy partner Johnny Mac return with dancers, aerialists, acrobats, special effects and much more. Norfolk’s scariest award-winning Halloween event is back for another year at ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure Park, Lenwade. There will be five frightening haunts to enjoy – new for 2022 is Hell’s Hollow, a place where chaos ensues as imagination and fear go into overdrive in the darkest of lanes. Returning attractions include the Mayhem Manor Hotel, with endless corridors and a host of nasties, Route 666, with terror lurking in the woods, The Crypt with its hidden chambers and carnival of fear the Circus of Terror. There will also be scare-actors ready to jump out at you, bars, food and entertainment. This one is definitely just for the adults (if you dare!)
