Halloween Activities and Events In Suffolk 2022!

We’ve covered Norfolk’s Halloween activities – and now it’s time to get spooky in Suffolk! Whether you want to find the perfect pumpkin, have a fun but freaky family day out or get scared in the dark there is lots going on this October! We’ve put together some of our favourite Halloween events and activities happening in Suffolk for the whole family…

Halloween Half Term at Framlingham Castle

Framlingham Castle have planned a ghoulishly good day for your little monsters. Follow Dennis and Gnasher to help solve creepy clues around the grounds, meet costumed performers, try your hand at sword fighting and visit the witchfinders tent!

Cost: £12.80 adult, £7.60 child (free for English Heritage members)

Framlingham Castle also offer scarily good ghost tours from Friday 28th October to Monday 31st October at 6pm, 7.15pm & 8.30pm. However these are strictly for adults or those over 16+ years of age! Do you dare to explore Framlingham Castle in the dark this year…?! Join their spooky storytellers with their tales of ghosts, supernatural sightings and horrors from history. Just make sure to bring your torch as things are going to get dark… Cost: Member adult £14, Non-member adult £18

Helmingham Hall - Pumpkin Patch

Helmingham Hall pumpkin patch is a scaretastic place to find the perfect pumpkin! Open all weekends in October and October half term. A fantastic experience for the whole family, go and join in with some Halloween fun, grab a wheelbarrow and away you go. Make sure to bring your wellies! Dogs on leads welcome.

Easton Farm Park

Go and join in the Halloween fun at Easton Farm Park. From pumpkin picking and decorating to getting lost in the maize maze and making spooky slime – there is lots to keep your little monsters entertained all day!

The Red House - Spooky Sounds

 

Calling all little ghosts and ghouls: visit the Red House, if you dare, to hear some spooky Suffolk tales, and learn how we can bring stories alive by adding spooky sounds.

All children will decorate and create their own ‘sound effect kit’ so they can tell their own spooky stories at home.

Scaresville - The Haunted Village

This one is strictly for the adults (and older children) if you dare!

Be prepared for an evening of adventure, filled with screams and laughter. As you cross over into a twilight world, where reality and imagination merge, you will encounter thrills, spills, scares and dares, as you traverse the woods, buildings, and parkland of Scaresville.

You must book in advance. Under 18s MUST be accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age.
