Before launching East Coast Hideaways in 2020, our team already had more than a decade of experience in the property world — managing, designing, renovating and transforming homes across the East Coast.
Our Story
Karen grew up in London and has spent over 20 years working in accommodation, events, and property. She launched her first Property Management and VA company 15 years ago, later combining that with a love of design, renovation and interiors. From full refurbishments and staging to hot tub installations and styling projects, she’s turned countless shells and second homes into fully booked holiday hideaways.
When lockdown hit and the property market turned upside down, we were ready. Amid the stamp duty surges and buying frenzy, many new owners needed help preparing their homes for guests. That’s when East Coast Hideaways launched its Fully Managed and Consultancy Services, combining our backgrounds in property, design, and logistics — and EC Property Co. was born.

We work with a trusted team of local professionals — electricians, plumbers, carpenters, gardeners, hot tub technicians and decorators — to deliver projects on time, to spec, and with care.
