Vale Cottage, Bacton
Vale Cottage is currently undergoing a complete overhaul by its new owners and will be ready to let from July onwards. The property is a lovely, warm, light, and airy detached house, around half a mile from the very unspoiled and quiet Bacton coastline. We're adding pictures to the property every few weeks, but more are available on request. Please note: some of the interior pictures on here are from the previous owners.
The front of the property is accessed via a gated entrance, with a lovely grassed area packed full of flowers, and home to a pond. There is also plenty of private parking and new tiled patio laid.
When you enter the house, the first thing you notice is how light and roomy the central hallway is. There is a small downstairs WC, decent size galley kitchen, a utility room with plenty of worktop space, and a tiled floor. This leads from the back garden and into the dining room and garage, so the ideal place to enter the house with sandy feet and wet paws after that beach walk.
There is also a family dining room overlooking the front and side garden, with tiled flooring and a large dining table and chairs. This leads to a paved and decked patio area at the side of the house, where the 6 person hot tub is.
The lounge is a decent size with huge windows to the front and side with a wood burner and tv.
The Downstairs en suite bedroom has a king-size bed and a roomy en suite bathroom. The twin room next door has bunk beds. There is also a separate Snug room, overlooking the front garden which will be an ideal place for the kids to play, with a sofa bed and chill-out area.
There is a master bedroom with super king size bed, furniture, and a large window with stunning sunset views across the fields next to the house. The second upstairs bedroom hosts a Zip link king-size bed which can be split into twin beds.
The upstairs bathroom has a spa bath, shower cubicle, and heated towel rail.
To the rear of the property, the garden is enclosed with a hedged perimeter, mainly laid to lawn with a paved patio area. Leading from the back garden, the owners intend to turn the garage into a games room and there has just been a large 6 person hot tub installed to the side of the dining are courtyard garden.
